Course Description In this Revit Architecture training course delegates use Revit Architecture to learn about Building Information Modelling and the tools for parametric building design and documentation. Delegates begin the three-day Revit Architecture training course by learning the fundamental features of Revit Architecture and then progressing through to schematic design and construction documentation, before advancing to design visualisation.
Upon completion of this training course, delegates will be able to undertake their first Revit Architecture project. This Revit Architecture training course offers both imperial and metric hands-on exercises representing real-world design scenarios.
Who is this course for? For anyone requiring a basic understanding and knowledge of Revit.
Objectives The primary objective of this Revit Architecture training course is to teach delegates the concepts of building information modelling and introduce the tools for parametric building design and documentation using Revit Architecture. After completing this course, delegates will be able to describe the benefits of building information modelling, use the fundamental features of Revit Architecture and use the parametric 3D design tools to design projects. Delegates will also be abe to create detailing and drafting views, create construction documentation and use presentation tools for design visualisation.
Pre-requisites No previous CAD experience is necessary. However, delegates should have a working knowledge of the architectural design, drafting or engineering principles.
Duration Three days
